The cassette is fully enclosed, which matters in the desert: the mesh rolls away clean instead of sitting out collecting dust, and the minimized bottom rail leaves nothing for grit to pile into.
Every unit is measured to within 1/16 of an inch, then factory-built for that exact opening. Vegas tract-home door frames are rarely square — that's why big-box kits never sit right and store-bought screens jump their tracks. The frame is 6063-T6 extruded aluminum, powder-coated in-house after cutting so there are no raw edges. Non-metal parts are glass-filled D66 nylon — UV-stable, which is not optional at 110 degrees.
