First, they installed one Single Retractable Screen Door for the open terrace area. It slides out easily to cover the whole opening and pulls back into a small box when not needed. The screen is very fine so you can still see the view clearly, but bugs cannot get through.
Second, they added Apollo’s double retractable screen to the French doors that lead to the terrace. Each side works on its own and pulls out smoothly. When both sides are extended, they meet perfectly in the middle and connect securely with a strong magnet (or you can choose a latch system instead). This keeps bugs out completely. When you are done, you simply push them back, and they hide neatly into slim boxes on each side — so clean and discreet that you can hardly tell they are there.
Both screens were put in on the same day without any big mess. They used strong parts that can handle the salty sea air in San Diego.
Now the homeowner can enjoy the terrace anytime without bugs bothering them.
