A homeowner in Woodland needed privacy along the open side of a covered patio. Two separate openings ran between the corner of the house and a support post, leaving the space exposed to neighbors and street view. Both units were framed in oil-rubbed bronze, which tied directly into the home's existing trim and gutters. The match was close enough that the shades look built-in rather than added on. Privacy fabric was chosen to fully close off sightlines when the screens are down. With both screens lowered, the patio becomes an enclosed outdoor room. With both raised, it opens back up completely.
The stucco exterior made the bronze finish an obvious call. Clean edges, no visible hardware gaps, and a setup that holds in wind without shifting or billowing out of the track.
