Folsom Patio Goes From Glare And No Privacy To A Shaded Outdoor Room

A homeowner in Folsom, California had a patio they stopped using. Afternoon sun made it too bright, too hot, and too exposed to neighboring sightlines. We installed Apollo PowerScreens with 97% solar fabric in black across the full patio opening — see our motorized patio screens page for full specs.

The 97% fabric cuts glare and blocks direct sun without sealing the space off. Air still moves through. The view to the yard is still there. The neighbors, however, are not. One button drops the screens down and the patio shifts from open and uncomfortable to shaded and private. Fabric and motor both carry a 20-year warranty.

If your patio has the same problem — sun, no privacy, or both — get a free estimate and we will measure the opening and walk you through fabric options.
