A homeowner in Briarcliff, New York had a lakeside porch with a view worth protecting. The goal was to keep bugs out, cut the afternoon glare, and make the space usable well past summer without closing it off entirely. We installed a PowerScreen system across the porch opening to do exactly that — see our motorized patio screens page for full specs.

The screens run on a motorized drive — one button and they're down. The homeowner selected a solar fabric in the mid-range of our UV blocking options, enough to take the edge off direct sun while keeping the water view intact. Bug pressure near the lake was the primary complaint that pushed this project forward, and the sealed perimeter of the zip-track system addresses that completely.

The result is a porch that gets used morning and evening, not just on perfect-weather days. If you have a porch, covered deck, or lakefront space sitting underused, get a free estimate and we'll size the system to your opening.
