A Bronze Retractable Screen Door That Matched The Entry In Coto De Caza

A homeowner in Coto de Caza wanted fresh air through the front door without putting a bulky screen in front of an entryway they had put real effort into. The answer was a retractable screen door finished in bronze.

The bronze housing was chosen specifically to complement the existing exterior details rather than work against them. When the screen is open, it disappears into the cassette. When it is closed, it holds its shape and keeps bugs out. The slow-close speed reducer was included so the screen returns quietly every time.
