A homeowner in Los Angeles wanted fresh air through the front door without covering it with a traditional screen. The entry was a focal point of the home, and anything mounted in front of it had to either look right or stay out of sight. A retractable screen door was the answer.

The unit was built to the exact opening, measured to within one-sixteenth of an inch. When it is not in use, it retracts completely into the frame housing — nothing visible, nothing hanging in front of the door. Slow-close hardware keeps it from snapping shut, and the all-metal ergonomic handle gives it a finished look that matches the entry rather than fighting it.
Color was selected from the stock lineup to coordinate with the existing exterior trim. Seven standard colors were available, along with hundreds of custom options. A limited lifetime warranty covers the unit.
