A luxury home in San Marcos needed retractable screen doors at four separate openings — the front entry, balcony, two bedroom doors, and the back patio. The homeowner wanted full bug protection at every point without covering up the architecture or breaking the sightlines between interior and exterior spaces.

Every screen was custom-fit to within one-sixteenth of an inch. The mesh is rigid enough that it holds flat without sagging or bowing, even across wider openings. A slow-close speed reducer was added at each location so there is no slamming — useful at a front entry, essential at a bedroom door. Housing color was selected to blend with the existing trim so the units disappear when retracted.

With screens at the front entry, both sides of the home, and the back patio, the entire house can open up at once. Bug protection across every opening, no visual clutter when the screens are stowed.
