A San Marcos homeowner wanted retractable screen doors at two entries: the front door and the poolside door leading out from the farmhouse. Both openings needed full bug protection without blocking sightlines or competing with the home's design.

The poolside door was the priority. From inside, the family wanted an unobstructed view of the pool so they could keep an eye on kids while eating or relaxing indoors. The nearly invisible stiff mesh made that possible — protection without a visual barrier. The front entry got the same treatment. Sized to within one-sixteenth of an inch, the screen disappears into the door frame when not in use. Walk past it and you would barely register it was there.

Both units were color-matched to blend with the farmhouse exterior. Ergonomic all-metal handles were included at each location. The result is two fully functional screen doors that do not announce themselves.
