A White Retractable Screen Door Installed On A Front Entry In Torrance

A homeowner in Torrance wanted fresh air moving through the front entry without propping the door open or dealing with bugs inside. The solution was a retractable screen door, sized to the exact opening and finished in white to match the existing entryway.

The white housing blends cleanly with the door frame so the screen disappears into the entry when it is not in use. A slow-close mechanism keeps the screen from slamming, and the all-metal handle holds up to daily use without feeling cheap. The fit was dialed in to within one-sixteenth of an inch.
